Jamie Lawrence is a systems engineer who has worked with various aspects
of information technology since 1991. His technical expertise is in
large scale systems architecture, database design, and information
security management. He has designed systems and process for ThirdAge
Media and Linktank Communications, and provided information systems for
a variety of California firms, both through consultancies and
independently. Since joining clue inc, he has been concentrating on
product development and information design.
Educated at Wesleyan University, he began his professional career
responsible for internal databases at Sybase, Inc. After dabbling with
print magazine production, he went on to serve as a consultant and client
advocate at 42 IS consulting, recommending, building and maintaining
networks, information systems and security models for a number of Bay
Area firms. He then became ThirdAge Media, Inc.'s Director of Information
Technology, where he managed the department responsible for all aspects
of internal and external computing resources. |
